10 Blogs for your Reading List

10 Blogs for your Reading List
If you’re looking for some blogs to read, here’s a start! Maybe even take the time to leave them a comment!

I realised the other day that if I stopped blogging it wouldn’t necessarily be the blog views or the ‘likes’ that I would miss. It would be the community. I’m talking direct contact via email or more likely twitter and instagram and comments on posts. The blogging community is so strong and supportive – it never ceases to amaze me.
As a thanks to some of these people I’m going to share some blogs for your reading list. Some blogs I’ve recently discovered alongside some old favourites.
You may see some posts sharing some of these links by other people as we’ve agreed to help eachother out and share our links. (See, this is how supportive the blogging community can be!) This idea for this post was created by Becky who I will introduce next!

The Lifestyle Blogger UK

I’m Becky, a 30 plus, Cotswold dwelling lifestyle blogger. My blog is full of recipes, product reviews, natural skincare alternatives and lovely things that make me smile!’

This blog is such a fantastic mix of everything! On scrolling down you see recipe ideas, skincare reviews, how to make money online and opportunities to work with Becky herself! From the looks of things, she could teach me a lot about advertising on blogs! She also has her own fantastic online shop which you can find here.

Bella Momento

‘Hello, I’m Francesca and I am a Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle blogger. I was inspired after an amazing trip to Italy three years ago to create my blog, hence my blogs name ‘Bella Momento’ (meaning beautiful moments), and have been in love with it ever since! I hope you enjoy!’

Francesca Louise is someone I regularly come across on twitter, and she is so genuine and lovely. Her blog combines fabulous photography and general cuteness; her header, her photos of cookies, her holiday photos of sunshine and palm trees. A visit to her blog is a must, and she’s always great to chat to!

‘A blog through the eyes of a twenty something year old first time mum, rambling about all things parenthood, livelihood and adulthood.’

This blog is great if you want somewhere to have a browse and read a few posts – there are so many that are quick, easy reads but written with all the details you need! From where to find Christmas jumpers for you and your family to biscuit reviews to family meal recipes, you are sure to find a few thinks that take your fancy!

Beauty Life Mom

‘My blog is all about thoughts on beauty products (reviews/ideas) and life musings. “Beauty and life as it happens” according to my blog logo!’

Jen is SUCH a lovely person – she is one of my twitter-blogging friends. One of the first things I always notice about her blog is how tidy it looks. I don’t know why, but it just does and it is one of those satisfying things in life! You’ll find her writing about makeup and skincare products primarily, with a bit of lifestyle thrown in – the same kind of thing as my blog, but I have a lot to learn from her photography! A feast for the eyes – this one.

Polished by Leanne

‘Polished by Leanne’s main interest is nails, but with beauty and a little bit of lifestyle thrown in too.’

It is great to see a blog with a bit more focus on nails as I know nothing about how to do nail art! She also has some fantastic lifestyle and beauty posts too: organic shampoo, which small businesses to support this christmas and an abundance of great guest posts.

Steph Hannam

‘My blog is a collection of beauty, lifestyle, interiors and wedding planning posts where I share all my loves and interests with you.’

Steph is another lovely girl, a twitter blogging friend. Qualified in interior design and soon to be married her blog is a great mix of genres. I need to get her round to my house! She is so genuine and honest in her writing, you know you can trust what she writes. Here you can find a great post on Autumnal Homeware with the most satisfyingly themed photographs. One to take a look at it, even if it is just for some photography inspiration.

Beck Beauty XO

‘I’m Beck, 21, mother of 2 and a week into my beauty blog! My blog lets me express the way I feel about the makeup I buy despite it not being expensive as with 2 children I have to budget and mainly go for drugstore brands!’

What a lovely name for a blog! Beck is only a couple of weeks into her blogging journey so lets give her blog some love! One thing I notice from seeing photos of her is that she has seriously fleeky brows, and the good thing is she has a post all about them and her brow journey through the years!

‘I’m Jade, I’m really passionate about all things beauty related. I created my blog to help girls like me find the best beauty deals, dupes and must haves. I also feature quite a bit of skincare, nails and hair related reviews on my blog too!’

Who doesn’t love a good dupe or deal? I’m gonna have to give this blog a bookmark as I am a dupe/deal addict…There are so many great up and coming products on here, if you are into trying new products such as perfect pout or you are curious about brands such as W7, NuSkin, Makeup Revolution or Primark beauty or then this is the blog for you!

Han Meets World

‘The aim of my lifestyle blog is to inspire in others that they can live their perfect life, have a voice and make a contribution.’

What better way to end this post than with a picture of cocktails from hanmeetsworld.com

I could really do with taking a page from Han’s book and read posts from her Live Well section. This talented girl speaks Portuguese and Spanish as well as English, and she gives advice on what to do at a blogger event!

Really great list, there’s a few on here I’d not heard of before and I’m always looking for new blogs to read!

I can totally relate to missing the community the most if I were to quit blogging, it’s such a wonderful, supportive group of people.

Lovely blog post, i’d love to come round and help your decorate and style your home x

    • November 7, 2016 / 9:11 pm

That would be amazing! I really want to get somewhere and start with a relatively blank canvas. I’m renting a fully furnished house at the moment and feel it’s not worth my money redecorating right now!

      • November 7, 2016 / 9:28 pm

Well you dont have to redecorate a house to bring it to life, you can put picture, painting, quotes on the wall and then add in home decor pieces to bring it all to life and make it feel really homely x
