What’s in my Washbag?

What’s in my Washbag?

I am about to head off for a couple of days away with my boyfriend. Here’s what I’ve packed for the overnight stay.

I thought a night away was just going to mean a bigger gap between posts and be inconvenient for my blogging, but I suddenly had the idea of showing you guys what I was taking with me for the overnight stay!

Nivea: 3 in 1  Gentle Cleansing Wipes

I do have some bottled makeup removers, but I don’t really like them that much to be honest and this almost empty pack of makeup wipes takes up way less space.

Nuxe: Gelée Exfoliante Douce

I got this gentle exfoliating gel from Love Me Beauty in June  and loved it when I first tried it. I don’t really have any other cleansers at the moment – and I didn’t want to cart a full bottle of something around anyway – so this was perfect as it only has about 1 use left in it.

Pixi: Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner

This is something I’ve never tried yet – I got it in my July Love Me Beauty bag and am hoping to try it out. That’s probably wishful thinking. In my head I’ll have a blissful time, and wake up bright and early with plenty of time to get ready for the day ahead, whereas in reality I will probably be rolling out of bed and putting my makeup on in the car…

Clinique: Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

This has been my go-to moisturizer for ages. It’s the one my mum has used since she can remember and she bought me my own full-size bottle last Christmas as I had moved out.

Benefit: It’s Potent! Eye Cream

I’ve heard mixed reviews about this product, I haven’t used it consistently enough to see if it lightens under-eye circles or anything yet, but it is nice and light and it does make your skin feel soft and smooth.

The Body Shop: Vitamin E Eyes Cube

In case it’s really hot in the hotel room, or my eyes feel particularly tired and sore, I thought I would bring this! It sits on my bedside table and is probably one of the things I use most regularly to be honest. It’s so refreshing – even my boyfriend asks to use it!

Have you tried any of these? Are there any items that always go with you when you travel? Please let me know!

It’s like a solidified cream in a stick form which runs smoothly over your skin. It just feels really refreshing and has vitamin e in it so it’s really good for your skin.
